The Hardest Thing a Family Can Face

The journey of caring for a seriously ill child is full of unknowns. Parents, caregivers, and loved ones must manage medical needs, emotional distress, and impossible decisions. It's easy to feel lost when every moment counts.

At The Denver Hospice, our pediatric Footprints program envelops families with comfort, connection, and compassionate care. We offer guidance, expertise, and support every step of the way.

Nobody has to walk this path alone.

Candlelight Remembrance

Our Candlelight Remembrance Ceremonies offer a heartfelt way to honor and remember loved ones who have passed.

These gatherings provide a space for shared reflection, including the reading of names, optional photo displays, and a candlelight ritual. They serve as an opportunity to connect with others navigating grief and to celebrate the lives of those we've lost.

Participation is free, but registration is required and closes once capacity is reached. Attendees may submit up to three photos of their loved one for inclusion in the ceremony by emailing them to GriefCenter@care4denver.org.
